Run for Creativity: Tokyo Marathon a Big Success!

Monday, March 4, 2024

On March 3rd, our CFO and board member Michel Wessel ran the Tokyo marathon to raise money for a Royal Talens Foundation project. Together with Femke Schrijvers, Anton van Empel and Anne Rixt Epema they raised over 14.000 euros! Amazing work!

Additionally, Robert Lodiers will run the Rotterdam marathon on April 14th to raise money for the same project as well. Good luck, Robert!

About the project

In June and July we will be organising three events for children and young adults from refugee centres in Beekbergen and Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Together with children from the surrounding neighbourhoods they will visit the Royal Talens Factory and Experience Centre for a creative and fun day. The events are focused on fostering connections through creativity and mindfulness. In the last week of the summer holidays, their work will be exhibited in the CODA Museum in Apeldoorn.
