Mission and vision

Good education does not exist without creative expression.

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 sustainable development goals, one of these goals is quality education. This is our dream: good quality education for every child!

To achieve this, the Royal Talens Foundation stimulates creative expression worldwide with many projects. Because we believe creative expression is essential for the development of every human being. Through art and creative expression, children and adults develop qualities and skills that are important for future success. Creativity stimulates our brain, gives us confidence, improves our motoric skills, and ensures that we are capable of identifying new opportunities and solutions.

The Royal Talens Foundation therefore wishes for people, young and old, everywhere in the world to express their creativity. By means of drawing and painting, everyone can change attitudes and offer new perspectives, and thereby contribute to a better and more sustainable future.

How it started

The Royal Talens Foundation was founded with the support of Royal Talens to accomodate the CSR activities within an autonomous entity. The Foundation started its activities in 2015, but social responsibility has been part of the company's DNA since year one.

The Talens Palet Foundation

In 1991 Royal Talens started the Talens Palet Foundation, a drawing and painting contest to support and encourage amateur artists. After several successful editions, in which more than 18.000 artistic individuals participated, Royal Talens decided to broaden the mission and increase its impact by founding the Royal Talens Foundation.

Cooperation with Royal Talens

The Royal Foundation is an independently operating foundation that works closely with Royal Talens. Because Talens produces beautiful fine art products and distributes them all over the world, the foundation can make more impact than without the collaboration with Royal Talens.

Our role in projects related to good creative education is increasing. Through our vast global network of artists, distributors and colleagues, we can also contribute in content.
